Look for a small cluster of makeshift shelters, campfires, and stacked storage — chests, barrels, cushions, and straw beds — tucked into flat or lightly sloped clearings across the eighteen listed overworld biomes.
Camps contain Explorer Maps that may point to another Abandoned Camp or to one of the officially listed destinations: Ancient City, Trial Chambers, Mineshaft, Desert Pyramid, Jungle Pyramid, Warm Ocean Ruins, or Woodland Mansion. Cartographer villagers are not documented as a source of Abandoned Camp maps.
Abandoned Camps contain chests and barrels, with Straw Beds and Cushions as placed camp items. Chests can contain Explorer Maps leading to other Abandoned Camps and listed structures such as Ancient Cities, Trial Chambers, Mineshafts, Desert Pyramids, Jungle Pyramids, Warm Ocean Ruins, and Woodland Mansions. The official changelogs do not publish a complete chest/barrel loot table, so unspecified loot is intentionally not invented.
